Day 1: On arrival, you will be met and transferred to a city hotel for safari briefing and overnight. You will also meet your Mount Kenya climbing guide who will brief you on what you need to have for a successful climb. Overnight: Eka Hotel (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 2: Sirimon Gate – Judimear Camp. 0700hrs, you will be picked from your hotel and have a drive via the beautiful central Kenya highland. En route there will be beautiful countryside sceneries with tea and coffee plantation as well as the Laikipia plains. On arrival in Nanyuki, you will have a brief stopover for some shopping and meeting with your team of climbing porters. Thereafter, you will proceed to Sirimon park gate some 15kms away. After the official entrance formalities, you will begin an acclimatization walk for about 03hrs to Old Moses Camp at 3300m for overnight. Meals and overnight: Old Moses Camp/ Judimear camp (Full Board)

Day 3: Ol Moses – Shipton camp. You will alerted for your breakfast at 600hrs and thereafter depart for a 7hrs journey through the moorland to Shipton camp.  This can be either via Likii north and south river as well as via one of the dramatic sceneries. You will have lunch at the picnic rocks on Mackinder’s valley halfway through or at Likii Hut. This is the best day to enjoy the mountain sceneries. On getting to the Camp, you will enjoy the views of the main peak and if you still have some energy left, you can explore the nearby Shipton’s caves. Meals and overnight: Shipton’s Camp (Full Board)

Day 4: Peak Summit circuit day. You will enjoy the peaks from all direction while you enjoy the Valleys and Cols as well as the glaciers in Mount Kenya. You will be able to see the American Camp in the Teleki Valley, Two Tarns, Hausberg Col, Kami Hut, Simba Col, Tooth Col, and Austrian Hut among other breath-taking features. You will return to the camp for a late lunch and time at leisure. Meals and overnight: Meals and overnight: Shipton’s Camp (Full Board)

Day 5: Summit Day – Ol Moses Camp. You will be woken up for a quick breakfast at 0300hrs for a Pre-dawn ascent attempt Pt. Lenana 4985m. This is the most difficulty day and takes about 3.5hrs to reach the summit. Once on the summit, you will be able to enjoy the sunrise. On a clear day, you can see as far as Mount Kilimanjaro. The views are breathtaking. After the sunrise and moments of celebrations, you will descend to Shipton’s Camp for a full breakfast. Later have a leisurely walk down to old Moses camp. Meals and overnight: Judimear Camp (Full Board)

Day 06: Old Moses – Nairobi.

After break fast, transfer from old Moses to catch transport to Nairobi at the gate. You will have lunch stopover in Nanyuki as you celebrate with your team before heading onward on safari or a drive to Nairobi. Once in Nairobi you will be dropped off at the airport for your onward flight back home.
