The tour gives you a chance to meet the souls you have fostered or wish to foster. You also get to meet the caretaker who watches over them 24/7
The tour makes a comprehensive visit to the orphanage in Nairobi nursery with the scheduled public, private and foster parent visit.
The tour also visit the field integration centers of DWST in Ithumba and Voi Integration unit in Tsavo East National Park as well as Umani Springs in Kibwezi forest near Chyulu Hills National Park
A visit to Amboseli National Park is scheduled. Amboseli National park is known for its great herd of Elephants who roam the plains. While in Amboseli, you get to see the largest tusker
David Sheldrick Wildlife Trusts are in the forefront in Sustainable tourism. They have Ithumba Camp, Ithumba Hill and Umani Springs Camp. Your accommodation in Ithumba and Umani Springs will be in their well-managed eco-lodges/Camps. The stay is exclusive to the member of this tour and only used by foster parents.
The best thing about this tour is that, the participant for each tour is limited to a maximum of 8 in a tour. Each vehicle has 4 participants meaning you will only have 2 vehicles on safari. The other beauty of it is that, your tour leader is an experienced wildlife photographer and you get to learn some few tips about wild photography. This is a buy one get one free.
