Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi, where our representative will greet you warmly and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a restful evening as you prepare for an inspiring adventure. Overnight in Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi City Excursions

After breakfast, embark on a full-day city excursion. Begin with a visit to the Giraffe Centre for an up-close experience with these majestic creatures. Continue to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to witness the rescue and rehabilitation of elephant calves. After lunch, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi after breakfast, journeying to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its large elephant herds. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge on a full-board basis.

Days 4 & 5: Full Days in Amboseli National Park

Spend two full days exploring Amboseli’s breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy morning and evening game drives, where you’ll encounter elephants, lions, and other wildlife against the backdrop of Africa’s tallest peak. All meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Amboseli to Tsavo East (Ithumba Hill Camp)

After breakfast, travel to Tsavo East National Park and check in at Ithumba Hill Camp. After lunch, visit the Ithumba stockades to witness the evening milk feeding of rescued elephants. This heartwarming encounter offers a unique insight into their journey to reintegration into the wild. Dinner and overnight at Ithumba Hill Camp.

Day 7: Full Day at Ithumba Hill Camp

Begin your day early with a visit to the stockades for the morning feeding session. After breakfast, head to the mud bath, where the elephants frolic and play. Enjoy leisure time at the camp before another evening visit to the stockades. Dinner and overnight at Ithumba Hill Camp.

Day 8: Ithumba Hill Camp to Galdessa Camp

Depart after breakfast for Galdessa Camp, located along the Galana River in Tsavo East. After lunch, visit the Voi stockades for another intimate encounter with the orphaned elephants. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Full Day at Galdessa Camp

Spend the day exploring the Voi area. Visit the mud baths to observe elephants and other wildlife cooling off in the midday heat. Later, relax at camp or enjoy an evening game drive in this picturesque area. Meals and overnight at Galdessa Camp.

Day 10: Galdessa Camp to Umani Springs

Travel to Umani Springs in Kibwezi Forest after breakfast. This lush retreat is home to a group of rehabilitated elephants. Enjoy lunch and leisure time before visiting the stockades to meet the orphans. Dinner and overnight at Umani Springs.

Day 11: Full Day at Umani Springs

Rise early for coffee and head to the stockades for the morning feeding session. After breakfast, visit the mud baths before returning to camp for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Conclude the day with another evening visit to the stockades. Dinner and overnight at Umani Springs.

Day 12: Umani Springs to Nairobi

After a leisurely breakfast, depart for Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight home, carrying unforgettable memories of Kenya’s wildlife and conservation efforts.
